Terms of Service
Last updated 24 August 2026
Glendi sells tickets on behalf of the promoters and venues who run events. We handle the money and the tickets; they run the event. If something goes wrong at an event, the organizer is responsible for it — but your payment goes through us, so refunds come from us.
1. Who we are
Glendi (“Glendi”, “we”) operates a ticketing platform at glendi.io. We provide software that lets event organizers list events, sell tickets, and get paid, and that lets attendees buy those tickets.
These terms apply to everyone who uses Glendi: attendees, promoters, venues, brands, and creators.
2. What Glendi is and is not
We are the merchant of record for ticket sales. Your card statement will say glendi. We collect payment, issue the ticket, and handle refunds and disputes.
We do not run events. The organizer sets the lineup, the door policy, the age limit, the start time and the capacity, and is responsible for delivering the event as described. We are not liable for what happens at an event, for an event being different from its listing, or for admission being refused at the door under the organizer’s own policy.
3. Buying a ticket
You do not need an account to buy. A ticket is delivered as a link and a QR code, and that link is the ticket — anyone holding it can use it, so treat it like cash.
Prices are shown with fees included before you pay. The total on the event page is the total charged to your card.
Tickets are admission rights, not property. We may void a ticket obtained fraudulently, through a reversed payment, or in breach of these terms.
4. Refunds and cancellations
Refund terms are set out in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms. In short: cancelled events are refunded in full, and other refunds are at the organizer’s discretion unless the law says otherwise.
5. Table splits
When a table is split, each participant pays their own share and no admission is issued until every seat is claimed and paid. If the table does not fill by its deadline, the split is cancelled and every deposit is refunded automatically.
Money held during a forming split is held by Glendi, not passed to the organizer, and is refundable in full until the table locks.
6. Organizers
If you sell through Glendi you must have the right to run the event you are listing, describe it accurately, honour the tickets you sell, and comply with the law where the event takes place — including licensing, capacity and age restrictions.
You authorise us to collect payment on your behalf, deduct our fees and any amounts owed to other parties under the deal terms you set, and pay you the balance on the schedule described in your settlement. We may withhold a payout where there is a dispute, a chargeback risk, or a credible complaint about the event.
You are responsible for any contact data you receive through Glendi, and for using it only in line with the consent the attendee gave and with applicable privacy law.
7. Affiliates and creators
Commission is only ever payable where an affiliate offer has been made and accepted. Sharing a link does not by itself create a right to payment, and Glendi does not operate a multi-level or downstream commission scheme.
8. Acceptable use
Do not use Glendi to sell tickets to events you are not entitled to run, to launder money, to resell tickets in breach of an organizer’s terms, to scrape or resell our data, or to interfere with the service.
9. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to Glendi is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new date, and continuing to use Glendi after that means you accept them.
